Stewed pears in teran sauce

- 2 pears
- 1.5 dl of wine teran
- 2 dl cream
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Why this recipe existsDessert for long evenings.
Peel the pears, cut them in half and scoop out the core. Then simmer all 4 halves in 1 dl of water. When they become medium soft, remove them from the pot.
Pour in the remaining water, add the wine Ā Teran, Ā add the sugar and the thickener and boil for 3-5 minutes.
Then return the pears to the sauce and cook for another minute or 2.
Then place 1/2 Ā on a plate and drizzle with the whipped cream.
tip:
to prevent lumps, mix the thickener with a spoonful of cold water before adding it to the Teran.
