- 2 cups walnut kernels
- 50 ml sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon pigment
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Why this recipe existsThis is a snack to enjoy on winter afternoons. When we go sledding with the children to warm up.
Beat the egg whites and water until stiff.
Add the walnut kernels and mix everything together. Mix the salt, cayenne pepper, allspice, cinnamon, and sugar in a plastic bag.
Add the walnuts and mix again in a tightly sealed bag.
Spread the walnuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes at 170°C.
Stir twice. Wait for them to cool, then stir and separate the walnuts that have stuck together.
